do you intend on modding your shifter paddles as well ?
shifting would seem rather awkward/frustrating in it's current setup

i dont normally use the paddles for most cars (except f1, 787b, etc), so it doesnt phase me that much. i can still reach them with my fingertips...

if i start to get annoyed with them i may just get the chilicoke ones

I have a Microsoft xbox 360 steering wheel. I also have GT5. I noticed an accesory in Ebgames the other day that can convert 360 controllers to work with ps3, does anyone know if they are any good?

Bit of a bump...really want to build my own...but not a full blown cockpit...just something I can use on a lunge chair.

Anyone else have any ideas/designs? Most I can find are just too big and bulky for moving around when not in use.

with GT6 being announced i think its time for me to invest in a proper cockpit, full sized racing seat etcetc (no, i dont want to build one, and i couldnt care less if you can build it)

any recommendations? i was looking at the pagnian Next Level GTxtreme V2 Racing Simulator Cockpit Chair (yes, its $589, but i dont care)

I had a GTxtreme V2, it was great, rock solid etc, I was very happy with it. I was about to say, I'd go for it if I bought another one, but then I went to check on the VR3... Man, these were like $2k when I bought my GTxtreme, but they have crushed the prices...

I loled when I saw your email notification come in btw, My G25 has been in the garage for like 2 years, the GT6 announcement made me think about getting a wheel stand pro or cockpit again.

Word of warning, DO NOT buy the ms wireless wheel for 360. Waste of money, stick to the controller.
