all engines sound washed out, the premium cars have a more likeness to their real counterpart but lack any real punch to them.

standard cars all sound like shit, FFS even the hondas drone like fart cannons when in vtec

It's almost like Polyphony put the engine sounds through Autotune filter, could have been so much better...

bit left field but im almost finished downloading the rsrbr2012 mod for richard burns rally, should be a hoot haven't played that in years

I stopped playing due to poor car sounds and lack of moddability even on the tiny selection of 'premium cars' ps2 modelled standard cars are beyond a joke for how long this game took.

Forza 4 suits my tastes better. Rb26dett datto FTW

Well i got it half installed but it seems half the download places have a corrupt file, im getting it from rapidshare that's a known good copy ( the track pack).

As soon as i get it up and running ill post my thoughts.

Car sounds are horrid in this game, especially on my decent sound system.

Drove a 1971 American Muscle car, some Ford I think.

Sounded like a vacuum, like it was a modern engine.

I had not touched the thing!!

Where is the sound of a old roaring V8???

Made my ears bleed.

Mines 3 litres with everything done to it.... 745kw = zero traction even in a straight line!!

I do like the race format of GT5. ie certain level before you can play certain races with whatever limitations. Can be a grind at times but kept you going at it to get there.
