Pretty normal in the 1st few weeks of a new mmo, lots of bugs.

its all part of a MMO in the start.

every MMOG I played the start is the same, it isnt finished, it isnt optimized and has to little content, well except everquest1, but then leveling was long and slow so you could actually enjoy content.

I get stuff now, and I am like meh, sucks it isnt the top of the line, and its to easy to get.
since levling goes to fast, people dont learn to know people around them, sadly.

Can someone explain the naming name@name thing??

Mine seems to be Duane Dibbley@DuaneDibbley. Which is long and looks stupid. I don't ever remember setting anything to be DuaneDibbley without a space. So I don't know where it came from...

Also - is there a 'right' way to quit? Do I always need to go back to earth stardock? I quit 90% the way through a mission (had to go out) and when I just came back I started outside the mission in sector space and had to re-enter from 0% (understandably).

its simple

charactername@accountname

character name is the single name you give your character at the start.

account name is the one you enter in the login screen.

Except my player name is Duane Dibbley and my account name is "MrDibbley"

For me it worked a little differently, my name is Tronn@Fuzzy_Joe, however Fuzzy_Joe isn't my login name, it's my forum name. It's a RETARDED naming system!!

Have cancelled my sub, game doesnt have enough in it to keep me interested, havent played for 4 days atm and i really dont care :P

Just got bored of earning new rank, then upgrading the same things again on my ship and my ship beiong useless until i had upgrade say 5 or so abilities to max rank. BOs got boring and i just used the ones i got at the start the whole way through. any missions got a little repetitive :P

have to agree here, and im considering it ..
the lack of atmosphere in this game is close to fatal..

im a bit annoyed that all I do, as a member of the peace loving federation is kill first and ask questions later
