Lightbulb [PS3] COD: MW2 - Your thoughts?

Hey

Just looked (or im blind lol) but no one has written anything about
the new Call Of Duty game due to be released in November.

What are people's thoughts and expectations of the game?

Also who were the early birds to pre-order the game which comes with
the night vision goggles?

So what are your thoughts???

Same here. Should be good from what the videos show.

DUDE!.... go read the mw2 thread over in pc gaming, most of them there don't want it on the pc since they got rid of the dedicated server and replaced it with IW.net.
Some people who just want to play it with a mouse have bought the nunchuck and mouse hybrid called the fragfx,
either way most people will just buy it on the 360 simply to whore out on achievements.

What gimped voice comms?

Concur about the 18 player limit.

Activision are the freaking devil, no doubt. They spent a lot of time hyping this game up, then after everyone had their pre-orders in and got all excited they reveal the spoilers (no dedicated servers on PC, 18 player limit etc). The sad thing is this game will still sell like crazy because people are sheep.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 is shaping up to be a better multiplayer game by a factor of about 1000. Not to mention MAG!

I wasn't going to get this for PC anyway, but Activision's attitude to gamers is enough to ensure there is definitely no way I'm getting this on release. Perhaps when it's second hand and cheap I'll get it for the single player story. Perhaps.

I'm totally undecided about this. I was going to get it on PC but I will wait and see how it is with the whole IW.Net crap

But the 18 player limit totally blows. Sounds like this could be a bit of a failure compared to the first, but really the millions of mindless console idiots are going to buy it anyway.

I think there are better things i'd prefer to spend my money on though like L4D2 on PC etc.
