Ok, this may sound like a n00b question, that's because it is. :P. I've got an Orc Shaman, just leveled up and am now level 20. Where do I get a mount?
Thanks,

Well, how hard is it to ask IN GAME perhaps?
let me help you. log into wow using your account username and password. Choose your character that is lvl 20 and has the money to buy the mount. press b and click your hearthstone, so you end up at an inn, if you aren't already. from there, press M. find where you are, and find the nearest flight point. they look like bats hanging upside down, or manticores sitting down. Go talk to the npc called the flight master. You'll see a popup map appear, with links to any flight master you've visited before. Hopefully, you're still on the continent of Kalimdor. You should see a flight point called Orgrimmar. Click it. You'll automatically mount the bat/manticore and fly to Orgrimmar. Enjoy the scenery, you don't have to do anything until you get there. When you arrive, you'll be dismounted automatically. Pres the following key combinations, exactly as follows: /1 Hi does anyone know where I can buy a mount? then press enter. If you're unsure, you could also do it this way: /1 NE1 KNO WERE 2 BY MNT??!! KTHX!! Do this A LOT. Someone will surely guide you soon.

Okay buddy. What browser you usin? I've used wowhead with ff, ie6/7/8, chrome, and never had a prob with pins showing. It also defaults to pins-on... so if you turn them off, close, and re open, pins will be on a gain. So I'm calling bullshit.

Ignore all the douche bags Campo. It's pretty common to get a lot of basement dwelling WoW nerds lashing out at you to make them selves feel better when you ask simple questions about the game or are in need of help.
So what if he needs some extra help finding specific information? He's only level 20. Maybe it would be different if he were higher level and was asking for directions, but that isn't the case. It's a friggen game, give him a break. Campo, when I played WoW and needed to find basically anything in regards to the game I'd use wowhead as someone mentioned previously. Using simple keywords in the search will often give you the answer you're looking for. Make sure you browse the comments tab, as people often give good directions/information. If that fails and you can't find what you're after, googling your question is probably the next best thing. Someone has already posted the spot, but just to backup my point, I haven't played WoW in yonks nor did I play Horde and finding the vendor was easy using these methods. ![]() Have fun =] |
