Surely screen sizes are getting to the point where the phone can't comfortably be used with one hand.
Ignoring that, it looks like a beast.

Looks great.
Leaves me asking though...What are the benefits / downsides of having WindowsMo vs having an Android based phone (looking at the Hero) ? If I had to decide between the two, why would one OS make me choose it over the other?

5 inch is too big for a phone, because you cannot hold like a phone anymore. But 4,3" could be just right. I think HTC is going to the optimal size now. Android seems to be faster. But then Windows is Windows, if you are used to it, and like it, you stay with it. Last edited by chainbolt; 20th September 2009 at 8:30 AM. |

I was considering getting one. Only reason I didn't was that the keyboard came off it. Was just held on by magnets. I'd want it to be fully attached. Man I would have looked like the biggest nerd holding that thing to my ear LOL

I like the big screen, it's like an UMPC. But it's pricey, and the resolution is too small for the big screen.

Now give me that device with a hard keyboard and I'll buy one today (I do a fair amount of email on my Touch Pro 1). That rocks - though I'm sure I wasn't the only person to notice the reviewer struggling to find things to do with the phone.

Ahh he didn't seem to know what he was doing a lot of the time. Just opening random programs then trying to close them. It's all about the custom ROMs anyway

I would not buy it WITH a hard keyboard. The huge success of the predecessor HD Touch and the iPhone is partially because of that. A hard keyboard makes the device clumsy, heavier, and always takes away some space. The new on-screen keyboards are so finger-friendly, you really don't need a real one.

No way. HTC devices come out in Europe first with at least a 4 month wait until they arrive here. Just buy it outright from Europe
