Default SAS to Sata breakout cables **REVERSE GROUP BUY AGG APPROVED**

**REVERSE GROUP BUY AGG APPROVED**

SAS to Sata cables

Following on from the Dell PERC 5/i thread

Due to the delays people were having getting these types of cables off Deals Extreme (myself included) I decided to help OCAU members out and provide a local source for these.

I had a few of these cables and they are nice quality. I have since sold these off.

They are original HP brand cables, 90degree Sata ends
The original HP Part number is 451782-001 if you need to lookup more details
Designed I am guessing to connect server raid cards or onboard Motherboard Raid to hook to Backplanes.

But now I have found a bunch of these cheap and wanted to pass this on to others.

Now rather than the typical Group buy type scenario where people post how many they would like and are will to jump aboard the group…. Then waiting for a lot of people to say they would like some. Then finally an amount / final figure decided and eventually an order being placed. Which can still lead to a waiting time to actually get hot little hands on the item.

I have actually purchased these ahead of time. So they are sitting waiting for people to buy straight away. Simple and easy.

To make the management and payment / postage easier for me some simple rules.

These Cables will be $8 each regardless of quantity.
Postage will be in an Auspost Express $8 bag to simplify postage for me. And so you have a tracking number.

I will post quantities of 1 to 20 of these cables in Auspost Express bag over 20 requires a second Auspost Bag.

Naturally Pickup is free, but it will be from my house after working hours or weekends
Pickup suburb is Oakden in Adelaide

So if you want any of these please reply in this thread for tracking purposes and to avoid PM’s getting messy.

Reply with quantity wanted, I will send a PM with my Bank details etc
And get your postal address.

Thanks

Ahhh knew I missed something.

Length is 30cm end to end.

For people with drives or backplanes a LONG way away from their controllers, you can do what I did and get and get entension cables to reach your furthest drives.

Question

I'm definitely interested.

So it would be $8 per cable and $8 for postage.

How many cables can you fit into 1 x $8 bag?

As in 1st post I can put 20 cables in a bag, any more needs a second bag.

As I will bubble wrap the ends to help protect them

Thanks

Just a thumbs up to Stanza, got my cables quickly and safely

I'd been waiting on DealExtreme for nearly 2 months so it was a pleasant surprise to finally get some cables so I can play with my Perc

Default 2 x SAS-SATA cables

Hi, I'd be keen for 2 of these cables, if you still have any left!

I'd need you to post them as I am in the ACT.

Many thanks,

Justin
