Default Just got Aion where to begin?

Guys I wanted to start a thread that is very to the point for someone who is just starting this game (who is me ) which is not over whelming. Can you please post Question and Answers here that you feel would help somone starting to play Aion (or for that matter there first MMO) for the first time.

Fist question I have is what servers do you play if in Australia / NZ?

How best to join up with a group (Clan/Guild) that can help you through this?

Any tips for someone starting for the very first time?

server: Nezekan (SP?)

how to join a legion to get help... 95% of legions are looking for players level 10 or 15+, very few would take on a completely new person, and if they would? it's most likely a trash legion that wouldn't be of any help at all.

in game tutorials are your friend

tips?
follow.the.tutorials.

then get to level 5 and ask away in /1 (general region).

keep your gathering skill up to date. certain quests require it.

also if you dont really care about the story you can use a leveling guide.

e.g. http://www.almarsguides.com/aion/leveling/

Here's a list of websites that are a must have:

http://www.aionarmory.com/ -- think wowhead
http://na.aiononline.com/ -- Official Site
http://www.aionsource.com/
http://www.aionaus.com/ -- Unofficial Australian Aion Site

With those websites bookmarked, there's nothing you shouldn't know about Aion.

is Aion worth playing? Last MMO I played was everquest 2, so i'm reluctant to get back into one unless it's worthwhile (and wont consume my life at the same time)
