Default Local Lingerie Store Website

Doing up a storefront for a local upcoming lingerie store in my area. The client wanted a "fantasy" feel. Went for fantasy type purple and stars. Almost passes for a softcore porn site haha.

Really after some c&c before I present please.

Still need to experiment on placement, especially for homepage and actual item layouts. Good enough effort for a friday night Any feedback is great.

Oh, client wanted it modeled after Hot Milk design http://www.hotmilklingerie.co.nz/online

Yeah me as well. The darker one has much better contrast then the other one.

Now is it me, or is there a slight noise grain on the darker box around the items?

It's slightly distracting :P

The second concept looks less like a softcore porn site.

so was the point of this thread really to get feedback, or just to boast about getting to work on a lingerie site?

Haha. Actual point was to get feedback. Rather have any kinks worked out before presentation =)

And I am assuming so? The actual content area is only 830px so should have no problem at all. Uploading it to browser check to make sure of resolutions now but =)

960px width is the standard these days, so 830px is fine

Just a quick update. Besides having to change the logo font to something a little more tragic I got design approval and now shall be developed. Shall post up when it is released.
* First paid design job as a sole trader. Exciting stuff for me haha (May purchase some Australian web hosting with this income )
