After reading the review of the 7D on DPReview, I'm thinking I might hold onto my 40D for longer and wait and see what the 60D brings or more likely the 5D MkIII... I'm hoping for a faster FPS out of the MkIII as the 7D gets 8FPS with the 18MP Sensor so, maybe they'll be able to do something like that with the 5D Mk III???

Also the 5D MKII has pretty good ISO performance from what I've heard... not sure if its as good as the Nikon D3/D700 though...?

Don't hold your breath... the 5D series has only been refreshed once... and it took canon the better part of 3 years to do so. The 5D Mark II was released at the end of 2008.. so good luck.
