Even though it's the N270 it was still a steal

$100 off the retail price. (think they go for $499 or $599 at the moment)

Bought 2 of them just after 3pm.

I was cut at first cos it was sold out, then i read that they are putting more up all day!

3pm release hasn't sold out, so good chance of buying them now. Most people probably haven't bothered to check again after the initial sell out - bargain price IMHO.

How is it the 1000HE, but with the N270 processor?

Everything I read indicates the 1000HE has an N280 processor. Not that I'm concerned about 0.06GHz, I'm more worried about the rest of the stats being accurate.

I grabbed one at the 3pm release.. I wonder how long it will take to get to me..

After missing the first release I ducked down to office works and they had it on the shelf for $885...

On 1280x600, some websites require side scrolling, or thats what i read in a couple of reviews.

I think most sites are designed for 1024 now-a-days anyway. I don't see it as a major issue.

Just want the thing to watch avi's and read e-books and such anyway.
