Some street
Went for a quick street session today.. man, the street shooters were out in force, snapping away at the drunk melbourne cup revellers
  Some just barely able to walk..  Stumbling around.. almost had a face plant.. (taken by the missus with the lx3 - i'm the grinning idiot in the background)  This guy took a massive dive right infront of flinders st station, from the top of the stairs... and no, i didn't trip him!  An obligatory cute chick photo  and the other obligatory i-got-the-trifecta shot. Actually, dunno what he was on about. He was sure happy about something..  More tomfoolery (lx3)  Holy crap.. it's dennis hopper, in the flesh! (lx3)  Finally, on the way back home. a group of sober irishmen..???

love the guy in the big issue hat with big issue bag and mag. suits because he has alot of big issues: 1. how he dresses, 2. his weight. and im gona take a stab in the dark at 3. his IQ.
in all seriousness though how can you take shots like this? you must have some massive balls, as soon as i even point a camera in someones general direction they are usually onto me and staring at me. do you get many people giving you evil looks, or verbally abusing you?

seriously though, i've been street shooting for nearly two years, not one has verbally abused me. i've gotten 'looks' before but not deathstares. if i get eye contact and they don't look too happy, just smile at them and move on. PLUS, it's melbourne cup day.. everybody's happily drunk. i like to take natural/unposed but the people were actually asking me if i would like to take their photo which was annoying! posed street shots  this photo was taken a couple of seconds before the photo in the OP. they saw the camera, stopped and posed.. after that, they just stumbled away..
