Default Pentax super exotica on ebay...

Some others might be interested in this....I know I am.

Emailed the seller to see if they'll accept bids from a verified Paypal account.

Pentax-FA* 600mm f4.0
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT

With a bit of luck we might see another legendary lens in the country.

It's personal taste of course but it's actually a very, very classy finish. Pentax changed from white to this metallic grey in the 90's when the white white lens bandwagon got too crowded.

I've got a couple of lenses with this finish, (the 300mm f4.5 and the 300mm f2.8), and much prefer the look of it to traditional black or white.

Ask if they accept Western Union and deliver to Nigeria

That price seems fairly reasonable, go for it

I don't recall seeing anything official yet but rumour is that it will be a new mount.

Got a reply and they'll only do bank-to-bank transfer...risky as well as being difficult to do from Aus to the US.

Completely off topic, but why do you own a 300mm 4.5 AND a 300mm 2.8?

I'm not gonna report them over it though. It's their lens and they can do what they want with it even they'd likely get a couple more thousand for it by accepting Paypal.

Bazz, I'll have to see if I've got a photo of Jason Edwards 250-600. He was in the other day to get a new tripod.

I've never seen a lens in such poor exterior condition! Optics were mint though, including the $600 UV Filter...

Thing was some STUPID price when he got it YEARS ago, but it's paid off in spades.

Lulz.
