Default Lighting for Table top

Its been a while since I bought any gear and I'm not up to speed with the latest

Can you guys recommend a lighting kit for me (tungsten/flash)?
I will be doing mostly table top stuff.
I don't have any idea on budget or prices but I need something good and inexpensive.
Also will need some "white paper board", small enough for my use.

thanks for your time

how big are you shooting? If its small and you're not fussy, I found for product photography, just get a bunch of table lights with the same type of globes does the trick.

And if its really small, a roll of fax carbon paper should do the trick.

most items will be around A2 square. I'm just worried about the standard globes though, any difference between say led and normal incan?
good idea with the fax paper , can use for the small stuff but will need something bigger most of the time.
