Hi All,
I recently bought Win7 PRO from the it's not cheating web site and my HDD has just this evening shit itself. I will have to replace it and wonder what the deal is when I reinstall with reactivation. Is MS going to think i'm trying to activate 2 machines? Do I have to deregister the copy before doing the changeout? Any help is much appreciated, Deus. Nothing to worry about. If you can't activate it online, just call the number in the activation process and have it activated over the phone. A simple process that won't take more than a few minutes pending the time you call.

you will have to re-activate win 7 over the phone.
I installed my copy from its not cheating and my mb died. installed new mb and win 7 came up as not activated although I had previously activated it. Anyway I tried to activate over the net again and it failed and came up saying you have to use the telephone option. I just selected the option that said I had un-installed the OS from one pc and installed it on another. entered the numbers and all is sweet again. takes about 6 minutes to do.
