A 7 year old LCD?!
Its either a Dead Samsung/ctx on its way out, or a POS proview which is worth killing. I suggest you upgrade to a 24" and dont look back! |

Might want to try out this program -
http://www.jscreenfix.com/ or, as suggested above, look to upgrade to a new one.

that was my first thought
![]() this is from crysis wars so l believe it is my graphics card that is causing the problem, but a few others believe it might be my monitor, since its 7 years old. Btw my graphics card is the MSI 9600GT Stock Overclocked 1 year old |

Try sticking the monitor on a different pc first, and sticking a different monitor on your pc.
edit: Clearly can't be your monitor if you can take teh scrrenshot without a camera. Gotta be the videocard. Clean out the dust and let it cool down, then try it again.

Try leaving the case's side panel off, and even pointing a pedestal fan towards the case.

Your GPU is stuffed. Go and get it replaced under warranty or buy a new one.

Friend had same problem a while ago.
his GTX260 was ended up being the problem and it was replaced a few weeks later, However he could run a VGA cable without the issue. (instead of a DVI cable) |

Your graphics card is boned, and will die a painful death.
