look if you have decided there's no escaping gst, ring auspost and tell them your tracking number, ask to pay the gst over the phone before the package gets here. Not sure if it was me or somebody else who did it, but I'm pretty sure it can be done...

Cheers, will give them a buzz first thing monday morning. I factored duties & gst and a CLA into my budget so it's not like I wasn't expecting it.

Started a tumblr. Seems to be mostly film so far I guess that's what happens when you scan eight rolls of 36exp.

Feedback on the photos welcome

I remember that there was a specific program that many people use though.

Y'know, there's something very appealing about the idea of getting a Fuji X100 and small Gorillapod and going travelling across America for a few months.

I could just about afford it.

Yes yes y'all.

If Fuji announces wide and tele converters for the X100, I'm sold. Quit my job, pack my kit and hit the road.

I must be missing something. I don't see the massive attraction to the X100.
I'm definitely looking forward to it, but it seems to be getting a hugely positive reaction for a camera not even released yet and I can't figure out why.

^ viewfinder, mechanical controls for all the essentials, super small, endearing aesthetics, wide fast prime lens, easy enough to zone focus.

It's basically the perfect digital camera on paper.
