Default Roast Beef in the Weber how long?

had no idea what to cook for dinner & the only thing that came to mind was crank up the weber.
The heatbeads are white and ive just thrown a 2kg blade of beef in.

Ive made a spicy rub containing:
3 tablespoon coarsely ground black pepper
2 tablespoons table salt
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 tablespoon granulated white sugar
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 teaspoon cayenne powder
2 teaspoons mustard powder
2 cloves of garlic
(blitz in the coffee grinder)

The beef has been coated in vege oil and the mix rubbed in very well

Was hoping to have it medium to medium well

any help?

VEGETABLES were just covered in EVOO, salt, pepper and grated garlic
I love them cooked for a long time so it becomes really sweet.

MASH was heavenly made up from boiled potatoes, heaps of butter, loads of cream, EVOO and salt

i guess you have a suitable forum nick then?

which weber do you have? i have a Q, and am looking to start doing roasts/ribs/random shit other than the usual bbq fare in there. i'd be curious to see how it turns out.

in for pics.

Just one of the old webers - if you have a look for my xmas thread it has a pic of it there
i used 45 heat beads on each side - which seems to work well normally
makes a nice change from oven roasting takes some heat out of the kitchen too
