Default iPhone 3Gs Car charge/dock

Hey all,

i recently had my car broken into and the fuckers took my iPod and charger/dock so now i have to listen to the radio (i really really hate the radio)
The dock was an old belkin one so it wouldnt charge my iphone.
But now that its gone im looking for a new dock so i can use my iPhone for songs in my car while im driving. I want one that charges the phone aswell as it will drain the phone too much otherwise.

Just wanting any suggestions or reviews if anyone else has le tme know what they are like.

Cheers

I have a belkin one that works fine with the iphone. The hands free is a bit crappy but thats more due to the mic. IM looking at the alpine head deck with pod control that has a seperate mic and the remote controls all the iphone controls too.

Kensington have there own iphone and ipod dock. You stick it to the windscreen using a suction cup and you just need an aux-in for your car

To get the audio from the Iphone/Ipod. Either that or just turn the iphone up-loud

Easiest and cheapest way would be to get a cigarette charger for the iPod and an FM transmitter. But that would not give you the best sound quality.

For the best sound quality you can either get a head unit that supports aux-in. Then get a cigarette charger for the iPod, and do two things at once.

Third option is to get a head-unit which supports iPod. That way it'll charge and play at the same time, and if it's one of the more expensive models, it will allow you to control it through the head-unit.
