Telstra Will Have WP7 Tethering By Year’s End

WiFi Sharing + Group Text to be enabled soon by Telstra. There are no plans to implement visual voicemail.

HTC and LG are in the process of submitting new software to enable these changes.

WiFi sharing sounds pretty good if you ask me.

It's really wierd...after the Mango update it worked perfectly.....it just started misbehaving recently.

I guess I could do a hard reset and re-install Mango and see how that goes.

After the mango update did you install the "htc windows phone update"?

It come up on my phone about a week or 2 after mango was released, my phone does little anoying things now.

Perhaps your expecting the same thing? My problems usually consist of when unlocking the screen, the vsyc is out, and half the wallpaper is in the unlock position with the password, and the other half still has the date sittling there

It's been a problem I've seen quite a few times. Mine does it also on occasion.

They used to have an option that you could pay more per month and get to keep a number of songs (10?) per month, but they're not offering that here in Aus so I'm assuming that means that once you stop subscribing you lose the rights to play songs you've downloaded.

Music search is based on the Browser Region Settings, they need to be set to US to get the Music Search icon currently.

Bit of a downer, if you could keep a portion per month (and I suppose 10 wouldn't be too bad) it would be good, and would probably convince me.

Any rumours as to whether Nokia will launch any WP7 phones in OZ? We got the N9, I don't see why they shouldn't try to launch Lumia here.

I think for Nokia, it was a matter of launching the N9 in some places and the Lumia 800 in others, probably prioritising based upon market and volume - clearly Nokia considers Australia a secondary market. (To be honest, I don't blame them, Australia is almost saturated with iPhones and Galaxy S'es (I and II) so launching a stopgap product here that looks very similar to an N9 and isn't an absolute flagship is pointless for them.)

I'm sure Nokia will launch WP7 phones here eventually, but I wouldn't hold my breath. I'd guess you'd be waiting until March or April *at least*.

is anyone else having problems with hotmail/windows live emails today? On my wife's mozart it has started having an error on sending emails through the hormail account, but can still receive them OK.

The error message is quite generic "We couldnt send one or more emails. Please delete them from the outbox and try again" sort of thing. No error code or antyhing provided.

There is an option under the email account setup for Logging which i changed from None to Advanced, but I cant find information anywhere to indicate where this log would actually be created or how to view it etc... hoping it might shed more light on what is actually going wrong. Would try ddeleting and re-adding except that its the main windows live account the whole phone is based on, thus it cant be removed. So far i have unticked "email" from the "items to synchronise" and now hotmail tile has completely disappeared and the windows live account is greyed out and shows "syncrhonising". Im hoping that it is getting rid of all the sync'ed emails, and i can then get back into it to try selecting emails as an item to sync again...

Anyone had the same thing, or know where this email log is once you set logging to Advanced?
