you have to wait till telstra approves the updates. i am on an unlocked HTC phone that's not telstra branded so i get the updates direct.

Never mind, found new Australian stock LG Optimus 7 going cheap on ebay. Will give it a go.

My Mozart is dying...now the camera is foggy...

Has been the biggest piece of shit I have ever owned...still does not respond to touch....am unable to get the wallpaper up in time to answer a call...and when I do none of the tiles respond....

Yep. Telstra. Seems Telstra have been true to their word and have enabled Tethering for us in December.

Oh good grief. Stop complaining. If you hate your phone so much get rid of it for something else or take it back and have them fix it. You might just have a dodgy device because not many others have your issues. I certainly don't.

I'm assuming you are on contract so by way of the ACCC ruling a while back, you have 2 years warranty on it. Go get it fixed.

But then what will he have to moan about?!

Good to hear that the update is rolling out to the Mozarts, will have to check the missus' one (and my HD7).

I'm sorry.. I forgot that the forums were just for happy, smiling, cheery posts.
Heaven forbid that someone feels the need to vent.!!

I took the phone back the week I got it and they told me they would have to send it away and I would be without a phone for 3 to 4 weeks..

I could buy another phone but I would have to pay out over 800.00 to get rid of this phone!!

pick whichever is convenient: i'd go with buying a new one straight...saves the hassle of paying for repairs but then you gotta deal with it until you get the cash you need if you can gather that much really fast!

Nice! I got the message for the update this morning but have been getting an error code 80180008 when trying to update Have reset the phone too without any luck.

Will have more of a play, but am looking forward to tethering finally!

Cool

Got my optimus 7 and installed the 11billion updates. Is nice and has WiFi tethering too. Yay. It's an unbranded device.
