Default P180/P182 owners, bottom chamber heat

Hey, anyone that owns a P180 or P182, how are you finding heat in the bottom chamber?
I cannot mount a fan due to space restrictions (not modding at the moment) and i'm planning on putting 4 hard drives in there (green or eco), the only thing that moves air down there is my Corsair HX620, is this a good/bad idea?

I would think the psu would do a reasonable job of venting air out of the bottom chamber. You could always try it and monitor hdd temps.

Usually the psu helps to suck air out of the chamber.

What on earth size PSU have you got in there to stop you putting a fan in?

I tried running the HX-620 by itself but found temps to be around 50C on a 20C ambient, so in went an 800rpm SlipStream. Now all HDD are between 28-31C. In short, find a way to put a fan in!

I've got 4 HDDs in the bottom chamber, a HX520 (same size as the HX620) and just a standard tri-cool fan mounted in it's built in bracket. Fits easily??

Make sure you use those right angle sata cables for the drive connections though.

Haven't been monitoring temps, but I've never found the drives to be overly warm to touch when I''ve been in there... The tri-cool is on low.

My single WD 7200RPM "Black" disk is 34 degrees in a P182. I have no front-mounted fan, but one mounted in the middle, and my large PSU (CoolerMaster 850W) fan.

I would say it's just your regular psu size.
