Default Overclockers Australia Joins the 2 Billion Club

Overclockers Australia Joins the 2 Billion Club

We are a bit early, but we just couldn't wait any longer

An amazing accomplishment for any team.

The points may have inflated as the results increased and faster procs have come on the scene,

but those opportunities were available to all teams and you are the ones joining the 2 Billion Club right now.

The 5th team to accomplish that level in the history of folding.

Congratulations from all of us at MaximumPC

I will link this thread with one like it on both forums so folks can easily see all the comments without having to register in both places.

We have many new folks that don't know the Overclockers Australia team as well as us old timers.

I have enjoyed reading your forum for years and observed the spirit with which your team enjoys folding.

We enter our season of heat and you are leaving yours behind

I haven't raised a monkey yet for active duty with regard to the Chimp Race, but someone will be along soon.

Link to MaximumPC congrats thread

I don't mean to rodomontade,but... HOORAY FOR US!!

I shall now allow my self 30 seconds in which to carouse and jubilate, then it's back to folding. Yay.

(By the way, I'm contemplating making a quick day trip across the border to Cologne as it appears to be closer than I thought )

Default Nearly there

1,999,317,689 at the 3:00pm EOC update.

Some time today people Be proud... that is one hell of an achievement.

I was around for the first 1/2 billion (6 Aug 2007), the first whole billion (12 Oct 2008) and the second billion has rolled by pretty darn quick.

Lets be honest ... we're not at our best at the moment with numbers dropping and power bills putting the squeeze on. Maybe this and the Chimp Challenge will offer a chance to take pride in what we can achieve and revitalise ourselves.

Like I said a long time ago, and Evil adopted for his sig:

Once more unto the breach, dear friends....

Lets keep them turning and burning and piling on the points.
