Realising that LAN event is too close to release date on this, so can't wait...

One more reason for me to get "full" version...

SSD - I use a G.Skill Falcon 60GB for my boot and apps drive in my desktop. Excellent performance. Velociraptor doesn't make a huge difference to game loading time, maybe only a couple of secs, so I just use a WD 640GB AAKS Blue for games. They offer sweet performance and are pretty quiet.
Nice NFO, thanks mate.

Cool, maybe I should be in the piracy industry

I'm planning to make myself a small box to stick in my carry on luggage and take overseas with me when I go for my working holiday. I don't think a laptop will cut it for games and performance.

Haha. Not really. I just like the freedom and customisability of PCs and spend a few hours a week playing games. Plus if something breaks I can just replace a part. Desktops are more comfortable to work on, bigger screens, better keyboards etc. Things like that Plus for $1300 or so I could make a wicked little PC, the best laptop I can get for $1300 is an Asus N61JA, dual core, ATI 5730 with a 16" screen.

Doing a working holiday in Canada, for 1-2 years. I'll be leaving a bit later in the year. I'll take the box in the carry on and get a screen and the other shit over there.
