it may well depend on what your car stereo is and what type of USB connection it uses?
might be a good excuse to upgrade to a newer model? (phone, stereo or even both! )post up your stereo model and we'll see if anyone can find something? woth a shot.

Yea, depends on USB type. Some will just look for storage so just enable USB storage once you connect it and see if it sees music on there.

Hey Guys,
I've put up with this for a while now. Thought I may as well ask here too... My gmail syncs fine. and I get new emails pushed. What I don't get is the gmail icon in notification bar. SGS2 running CM9 nightlies, RC 1 & 2 and no good. On my missus' white SGS2 running same combinations of ROMs she has had no issues with the gmail notification Any ideas?

Dumb question but have you configured the right options in the notifications section in Gmail app settings?

Yeah looks Ok... Only suggestions would be unticking the box then re ticking, or uninstalling Gmail (or delete apk and recover it)
You don't have any notification bar mods or addons? Or different cm9 notification bar./power widget settings, compared to the missus? |

Yeah. Done your first line of suggestions.
It's just the standard cm9 notification bar with the power control widget enabled on both devices... Don't think they are too different.

On my missus' SGS2 and galaxy tab 8.9, her gmail notifications are working on both devices. although the 8.9 is using stock honeycomb maybe account related issue? pisses me off actually. Imagine going in to sync (with the OCD tendencies of checking all the time) GMAIL all the time

What's a good family phone tracker app out there? There are so many out there and I don't want to install everyone of them to find out which one is good.
All I want is to track multiple devices, with ability to send a request (stealthy or not - doesn't really matter) to the remote device to get GPS/cell triangular location. I don't need real time tracking or constant polling with gps or server which keeps the battery down. |

I think i had thousands of unread gmails. and found on a blog that there is a way to mark them all as read using the filter setting tool in gmail settings. This was left on the whole time. So I deleted that and its all good now. So stoked. ----------- For those wanting to get Google Now on their ICS devices (rooted only) see here; http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2012/07...andwich-phone/

Guys, I'm after an app that can recognise handwriting from a stylus (on a tablet) and convert it to text in a word document or word compatible document. Does one exist?

Does anyone use a third party facebook ap? I just bought a Galaxy tab and me and my fiance both use it for facebook. At the moment we've split it so one is signed in through the browser and the other using the app, but apps are easier.
We're not concerned about privacy, just about being able to easily swap between accounts. |

Was just thinking the same. I installed Facebook last night on my Transformer Infinity and it's shocking interface. I stupidly thought it'd be different somehow on a tablet.
