Also Looks like you can play all user-created levels from LBP1, but not the actual game. So have to still keep onto my first game

Once you've finished the inbuilt levels though, why would you want to play the first game?

2 more days :|

True, must admit haven't gone through and played again. Just for trophies I guess. But you wouldn't get much for trading it in either.

collectors edition says 11 DLC costumes, you reckon these will be available for the standard edition at a later date?

Probs for purchase I would think. If they are at launch prob only like $1 each. I am keen on Tron so bad!

i dont understand this 'game'

I played the first one for a couple of hours and don't really understand what's so 'fun' about it.

I played LBP with my wife and she rolled her eyes after a couple of levels and was bored..

Can't wait for this! Never knew there was a collectors edition, called up and they are all sold out at EB Games. Had a search and it looks like the US version gets the bookends too, just placed a preorder over eBay for the US collectors edition as it looks too awesome.

Will sell the US game once it gets here and play the AU version when I pick it up tomorrow.

It's kinda like Mario but with multiplayer. Is great fun playing through with multiple people. But because is aimed at kids is quite babyish at times and fairly easy to complete. But then again so is Mario.

LBP1 is the best value game we have ever bought for the PS3. It has seen regular play with the kids and I since we got it nearly 2 years ago - despite a steady stream of new games. It is one of the few games that has not gathered dust.

Interestingly, my wife mentioned that she will be getting this as soon as it is released - unprompted!

Are you looking to be convinced otherwise, or hoping others will agree with you?

As simboes mentioned, it's just a multiplayer platformer with physics, and an inbuilt level editor.

Did you cruise through the levels? If so, then you just need to play some harder levels to challenge, or at least try and get all the items in a level. Often they're tricky to get.

I wouldn't say it's aimed at kids though in particular, it's just an all ages type of game.

Maybe try to play a level competitively with your GF?

I can't wait for this, my gf and I won an EBGames comp to get LBP2 Collectors and a plushie sackboy, but unfortunately they won't send the game out until after release, so we'll be playing it later than everyone else lol.

You had to make a LBP level and take a pic, we won with this one: http://o-tab.com/t/lbp/P1000335.JPG which was mine

..and hers which I think is much much better: http://o-tab.com/t/lbp/P1000321.JPG

Haha well done, a deserving winner I was looking at that competition and someone had uploaded a few porn pics.. they were up there for quite a while. I don't think they won though.
