That's right, there is two versions of NV surround, the version called 'NV Surround 3D' and the version called NV Surround - Which isn't in 3D and allows you to mix and match monitors as long as they are the same resolution, just like Eyefinity.

As far as I know standard NV Surround (without 3D) is the version they are releasing first.

You aren't going to be forced to use one or the other, just use whatever version of NV Surround suits your needs.

Thank you for that bit of info. It was as i first thought i read that.
Now that big ol smile is back on my face. The cards are impressive, very powerful. They are a little warm but i will have the water blocks in a couple of weeks. And the fan noise will disappear, which i dont really have a problem with but have noticed it concerned others.Cheers
