Default Smallest MS Word Font?

Hi All,

I bet someone here worked this out at some point: which is the MS word font that takes up the least space on the page, on 12 point size setting?

I'm writing an application with a strict page limit, and facing the task of shortening an already too long text. I can't really do dodgy stuff; they'll find out. So I just need to pick the best font.

Thoughts?

Out of every font in the world or the major ones like Verdana, Arial, tahoma etc?

If you can use a custom one, try a pixel font. Or a condensed version of any font.
