Yeah that's going to sting if there are actually some good local multiplayer titles. *pictures the TV with a wii sensor bar, Kinect, PS eye all together.* Last edited by gregpolk; 16th June 2010 at 9:06 PM. |

the good thing is that kinect can be used to control videos so even if you don't play games with it just go minority report!

Microsoft need people to adopt this quickly and keeping the price low will allow that. |

i dunno what would be a reasonable price, though i would be leaning to at least 140.

considering it tracked 2 ppl during the demos i guess it's better value then buying 2 move controllers.

I reckon it's better than what I thought.
Rather than just a game controller it controls a lot more. Before I wasn't interested it (after owning a Wii) but now I'm intrigued with the video control, video chat and anything else I can do without having to handle a controller. The only thing that will turn me off is if it's too expensive. Less than $200 would be fine, anything over that, I'd need to be using it fairly often to make it cost effective.

I thought it was fairly solid that it was going to be $199 here? If that's not the case and it's down closer to $100 I'll buy one day 1. At $199 I'll wait for more titles, considering at the moment I mostly want it for controlling the system more than the current list of games. I would have thought cheap as possible would be a good strategy. Don't try to profit off the peripheral, focus on early adoption to encourage devs to get titles out there for them.

This Xbox will make me jump in' (pun indented)
How would you guys rate it as a media center? I've been looking around and people have very differing opinions about it. Is it easy to stream music from windows media player? Do videos work just as easy? I'm just after your opinion
