Will be funny watching sony with its blatant wii rip off "move", doing blatant wii rii rip off attempts at hardcore games and failing for the next 5 years though. Even funnier will be the PS3 zealots defending it and telling everyone how great it is while never actually playing it. hmmm probly should start calling them PSthrii zealots now...

move actually looks good unlike wii, the boxing looks amazing the player on screen actually does what you do unlike wii boxing.

They'll both be full of wii type shovelware. MS in particular is launching with plenty of it :P That's the market they're after.

Yeah that's going to sting if there are actually some good local multiplayer titles.

*pictures the TV with a wii sensor bar, Kinect, PS eye all together.*

the good thing is that kinect can be used to control videos so even if you don't play games with it just go minority report!

Microsoft would be silly to price it that high, officially they haven't announced a price so these stores putting up a price (that they think is a good estimate) is just a way to get pre-orders and then adjust the price once its announced.

Microsoft need people to adopt this quickly and keeping the price low will allow that.

i dunno what would be a reasonable price, though i would be leaning to at least 140.

I'm not sure either, but i think it should be closer to $100 than $200. Making it cost near half the price of the console itself is a bit stupid.

considering it tracked 2 ppl during the demos i guess it's better value then buying 2 move controllers.

I reckon it's better than what I thought.

Rather than just a game controller it controls a lot more.

Before I wasn't interested it (after owning a Wii) but now I'm intrigued with the video control, video chat and anything else I can do without having to handle a controller.

The only thing that will turn me off is if it's too expensive. Less than $200 would be fine, anything over that, I'd need to be using it fairly often to make it cost effective.

I thought it was fairly solid that it was going to be $199 here? If that's not the case and it's down closer to $100 I'll buy one day 1. At $199 I'll wait for more titles, considering at the moment I mostly want it for controlling the system more than the current list of games. I would have thought cheap as possible would be a good strategy. Don't try to profit off the peripheral, focus on early adoption to encourage devs to get titles out there for them.

This Xbox will make me jump in' (pun indented)

How would you guys rate it as a media center? I've been looking around and people have very differing opinions about it.

Is it easy to stream music from windows media player? Do videos work just as easy?

I'm just after your opinion
