I've played Ibanez for probably 6-7 years so I don't mind. What we REALLY want to know is what the dealer mark up is, to get better deals. I know the warehouse can release stock for less than 30% of retail (my RG7421 was 1500 rrp, bought it for 680 in store).
you know i can't tell you what margins retailers get man

when you say "the warehouse", you mean the distributors warehouse or the retailers warehouse?

besides, dealer margin is pretty irelevant when you buy from a shop, because there's a lot more cost involved in selling you a guitar than just the purchase of just the guitar

I know that's fine don't PM me the margins seriously

Unsure which warehouse... I think the distro wh. retailer got a mad runout deal, I benefitted. I know the deal man, been around the game since 97. I am very much in favour of supporting the shops... TBH though, I support staff, because shops come and go, ESPECIALLY with the weirdness of Billy Hydes these days.

yeah BH have their own way of doing business, that's pretty much all i'm going to say. good on you for supporting the independents man if that's what you do

buffalo: the 2LE2-13 is definitely the arm holder for the lo pro edge 7

2LE2-13C (chrome)
2LE2-13K (cosmo black)
2LE2-13PC (powder cosmo)

it's wierd there's no 2LE2-13B listed in the parts catalogue but it's in the system in stock as per my previous post, $17 RRP. We've also got the chrome in stock. Where do you live man, I'll tell you which dealer is nearby.

Do you know if it's possible to get replacement trem arm holders (i.e. 'the hole') for the original Edge (6-string) bridge? The unsupported rear half of mine snapped off years ago and I assumed it was unfixable (sans replacing the entire bridge).

should be, lemme check

edit: guys i'm happy to help out with info price and availability on spares but please please please its much easier if you tell me the model and year of your guitar and mention the trem system if you want but it's so much easier to look up the trem based on a particular guitar rather than the specific trem system

I think shredder was not talking about the arm itself, but rather the ring that the arm is inserted into that is actually attached to the bridge.

Nope, but some wholesale prices on guitars for your OCAU brothers would be handy

Whats the fascination with wholesale prices? You'd never be able to purchase a guitar at that price and 50-100% markups are common in just about every other retail industry.

Not sure what you're talking about, but last week I posted about the huge differences in RRP on instruments here as opposed to US/UK.
