Am I right in assuming that you can still only boot of the master HD and not the slave?
You can have X number of partitions on the primary and have diff o/s to boot to...but not on another drive?? Also can someone please tell me a good multiboot program? hehe...I also need to know the latest/best linux out atm. I think that should do it for now! heheThanx in advance ppl |

yes, you can boot from a different hdd.
sort of. when you install a second OS onto a second separate hdd, it re-writes the mbr of the C: drive. in linux's case it will install the bootloader which then lets you choose which OS to boot to. so initially boot up starts with the C: drive, but if you pick to boot an OS that is on a totally seperate drive it will then switch and boot from that. that's what you were getting at wasn't it?

install linux last and use it's bootloader to choose which OS to boot to.
