The i3 is overclocked to 4ghz but this has not had a huge difference to bad company except that it loads faster

I rekon you should load up fraps with your current system, find out the average framerates for the games you like to play.
Then overclock the cpu to 3.4ghz or higher if your comfortable with that, then run fraps again and see what the difference is, if any.

Yeah its only a noticable increase when it is loading into a singleplayer mission strange that this was the most noticable effect of the overclock in the game
My system must just be wierd

cpu effects loading speeds as well

also the game you are playing is obviously gpu bound based on your description...
