Hi thanks for all the help and inputs so far guys.

At the moment after reading everything here and online I'll probably go for the sigma or Tamron due to the extra range they provide. The Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is really fast but its range is undesirable.

I will probably go with sigma in the end because of CRKennedy's policy and will be easy to obtain warrantee from them for grey stock price.
I am leaning towards sigma 10-20 but unsure whether to shell out the extra 150ish for the quicker version. The 12-24 is also very nice and can be used on FF but its 2mm longer at the wide end.

Any further comments on these lenses or others are welcome.

ps. being a uni student, cost is a big issue when deciding so please no Nikon or some really $$$ lenses please.

I see the lensbaby as a toy that would only be used on rare occasions for which it would be suited.
