Awesome!

And finally, ATI CrossFireX now supports rotated displays, which was particularly longed for by users of ATI Eyefinity setups that make use of rotated physical displays.

So basicly, no gains unless you're using Eyefinity and rare CF setups or happen to still use VLC............

Not really ground-breaking.

Performance increases 3-8% on ATI Radeon HD 5970 single card and CrossFire configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled
Performance increases 2-6% on ATI Radeon HD 5600 and ATI Radeon HD 5500 series single card configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled
Performance increases 2-10% on ATI Radeon HD 4800 series single card and CrossFire configurations when anti-aliasing and anisotropic filtering is enabled

From the early feedback im getting, these drivers cause problems with clock speeds not returning to idle after 3d gaming...

Full 3D clocks on both GPUs but only one GPU returns to idle/2D clocks on exit, GPU2 remains at 3D clocks:

and

Only one GPU switches to 3D clocks, the other remains at idle/2D clocks

And various users are reporing BSOD problems...yet again!!

Anyone want a pair of 5870's?

Just uninstalled my 10.6 Version and threw on 10.7 (Uninstalled, Rebooted into safe mode, DriverCleanerPro removal, rebooted, Installed 10.7 and rebooted)

Here is a before and after of 3dmark06 at standard 3dmark settings:

Note, Nothing else was changed in the before and after tests except for the driver version.

SM2 Scores are a bit higher, thats a nice improvement IMO. My screen still flickers with the GPU OC'd with my dual monitors I thought they were going to fix that!

10.6 Drivers:

If you meant Bad Company 2, then i haven't really had any issues with the game in crossfire. Clock speed scales down and GPU usage is consistent between the GPU's.
