I was just rearranging my camera strap and currently have it setup as a ghetto style rapid strap, neck sling with a single strap attached to the bottom of the battery grip.
I thought I would ask how you guys use your camera straps, around the neck, shoulder, hand grip etc?

neoprene neck strap + battery grip strap. Neoprene straps are awesome - give it a go
Would like to try the crumpler industry disgrace one day - has anyone used it? What do you think? |

DIY rapid-strap consisting of keyrings and caribbena type-clips. Let's me switch from rapid-strap style to normal neck-strap style in a matter of seconds. Particularly useful when you don't want the weight of the battery grip.
Neoprene stretchy straps are a must to ease the load on the shoulders/neck though! |

Ditto. There's no other way.

Tried this too. But very hard to manage with two bodies. If i had a single body only, then a handstrap would be handy. Get it? I'm a genius. Perhaps I can get training from King Kai now.

Both shoulders. My neoprene one died after 2 years of use.... the bouncing/stretching musta killed it. Going for a pair of Upstraps soon.

Industry Disgrace over the shoulder for me, never use as an actual neck strap. Miles better than the Canon one, but I've never tried any other straps (most are probably better than the Canon one).

Industry disgrace for me also, sorta matches the bag i put mine in.
Usually wear it with all gear attatched, i.e battery grip on 400D, 17-55 and flash on right shoulder with my right hand holding the strap. very comfortable. Will try your ghetto stype rapid strap idea tho

Handstrap only, used 50% of the time. The rest is no strap. I have giant skull crushing man-hands... not real likely I'll drop a camera.
If I'm feeling lazy and just shooting *whatever*, a walk in the park or something, I'll use a RapidStrap.

I HAD a Lowepro neckstrap - very comfy, and good grip if you decide to shoulder it.
It's got quick release clips too, which is good because I prefer having no strap for actual shooting. Must have lost mine though becasue I can't find it... might have to invest in another.
