Should we use this for carriers that use optus like TPG? Or perhaps another thread for 'other carriers', I don't think we'd need individual threads for TPG/Virgin/Exetel/etc.

This is just for Optus, the other telcos can just have separate threads when required, atm i don't see a need. We might not even need a thread for Optus, but we'll see how it goes
