Oh good boy! Nice thread idea. In a hurry at the moment, but will post up something a bit later on. Was looking at the top loader model of the NES, I have never actually held one of these in my hands yet. Used to have the old one once. Was checking around for another NES and some places were wanting $200 a peice.

Thanks for the ecouragment. I've never actually seen a top loader in real life. It just looks awesome and would (I assume) have less blinking errors than the slot loader. $200 a peice is a bit much. eBay has had a few recently ~$100.

I'm the same but I do have preferences that are must haves over just cheap bargain impulse buys.

Dreamcast has been the one thing I've put off until I finish my Nintendo want list. So expensive at the moment and a bunch of peripherals as well. Suprising the Dreamcast is the only console I have never owned. All the rest I have had at some point and sold off or traded up...and now I'm buying them all back.

I was a while ago looking at getting a TV Tuner for the Game Gear but then thought about the issue of once the analogue signal stops will it still work?

I went to Cash Converters in Heidelberg, VIC today (actually was going to MLN next door, never even knew cashies was there) and spotted a bargain .

R.O.B for NES. No box, No extentions, No hands, Scratched and Colour had faded = $89.00

I did see quite a few boxed SMS games for $3-$9 tho if anyone was interested. Sonic 2, Coloumns, Taz Mania all $3 Boxed.

I'm really keen for a Super Gameboy. I missed one on eBay the other week for $10, and I'm kicking myself.

The next planned purchase is a intellivision complete with box.

As that was my first console that I had all for my own as a kid.

Talk of the Spectrum has got me interested in one, so I'll probably track down one of those.

I'll also grab a DivIDE for it http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I've also just grabbed a new mint in box Megadrive from a guy in Thailand. That will go nicely with my minty SNES and NES Toploader.

I'm also going to build up my Atari 5200 collection. I've got a 2 port and a 4 port system and about 15 games so I'm going to put an effort into building that up a bit. Since its a North America only system I'm restricted to buying from Ebay and places like Atariage, however the games are fairly cheap.

And given the weather is getting better I'll start hitting the garage sales again, I intend to work on my Dreamcast collection a bit more.
