Just wanted to know the best way to go about making a shape outline in Photoshop?
Basically I want to make a shape that is a square with one rounded corner, but I don’t want it to be filled… I just want a thick outline. Any thoughts?

I'd make a square with 4 round corners (using vector paths) then delete 3 of them and join the paths together in the process. Or an easier way would be to just use the pen tool and draw one yourself. Hold ALT when clicking to get rid of curves. That's basically it without going into insane amounts of details. Then on the layer the square is on, right click and go to blending options. For the fill opacity (not opacity) drag it to 0%. Then down the bottom, in stoke, set it to inside and customize the colour and thickness yourself. Maybe someone else can explain it better, but if you can use PS then it should be fairly easy. |

Awesome, cheers mate!
The only tool I'm not familiar with in Photoshop is the Pen tool... It looks like I REALLY need to learn it. It get's recommended to me quite a lot.

Yeh, if you need an easy way you can do that, or you can go here and download some shape brushes and smash em out in a second. Vector paths are useful if you need to change things again and again, if it's just for mockups (I have a feeling it might be!) then any quick way will do.
