picked up my prestige edition today.
had a quick play with the radio controlled car.
it works pretty well, but it's hard to drive using only the camera.

i'll have to wait until my daughter goes to bed before i can play the actual game.

eb games have the new MOH (among others) available for $49 when you buy black ops.
i couldn't resist. i bought that as well.

yeah but it doesn't work too well in low light and the screen is quite small and it can be a bit slow to refresh depending on how far away it is.
still pretty cool though.

it has two speeds, low (for use with the camera) and high.
when i ran it on high speed it had trouble getting grip on the floorboards.
i haven't driven it outside yet, but i reckon high speed will be pretty good on the pavers.

lag wise, its heaps better than MW2. i had no lag at all, even on my wireless connection. and a bonus, i wasnt matched with 12 year olds

gameplay wise, i only tried TDM. maps where great, flowed really well and where fun. recoil is a pain, dunno if it was just the gun i was using though. it feels very similar to mw2. if you liked mw2, do yourself a favor and get black ops. with the added zombies, and wager matches, its what mw2 should have been in the first place.

Mmm..well i never really played anthing other than FFA, so hopefully that wont be an issue when everyone is trying to kill everyone else.

It'll be interesting to see how many bullets kill people, i found in Medel of HOnour it was like that and i hated it, i felt like i was shooting whole clips into people and they were not dying (wheras in MW2 two or three shots from a Tar or UMP and it'll be over and you keep moving).
Don't take it as a personal attack, but you represent exactly why i stopped playing mw2 7 months ago. Commando and OMA/DC noobtubes completely ruined the game (from my perspective).

There is still a small lunge to the knife, but there's no invincible 15 meter teleport like in MW2. Also, if you didn't like how many bullets it took to down someone in MoH you probably won't enjoy black ops either. As black ops is closer to the MoH end of the spectrum.

I was just about to post the same thing. Yeh I hated those aspects of MW2.
