On the silver sticker that came with the disk, if it is lost ( many toss the plastic wrapper etc away and also the numbers too) you can phone em and by giving them the tiny serial numbers of the disk they can help you out with the numbers.

In every previous version of windows you have been able to view your cd key by looking at a certain system file.

Does windows XP not have this capability ?

Search the registry if it's there that's a good a place as any for it to be if you must find them the hard way.

But if you need the numbers, phone them and within a minute you will have the numbers, it's that simple, if you have nothing to hide call them, it's even a free call, tell em you name is john smith.

Geeez it's like like poping a pimple via way of open heart surgery.

The CD key should be on the Microsoft hologram sticker that should be somewhere on your case.

But I have a feeling you've painted over it whilst modding your case?
