Anyone know of a good digital audio recorder?
It should preferably be able to pick up any sound audible to the user. Even sounds that are distant or faintly above background sounds. |

What type of recorder are you after? A directional microphone you see in spy movies for targetting a region of sound, or an omnidirectional device that is sentive to sounds from all angles?
