Goddam it. My order just arrived today. Unboxing it, i saw the fans have a 4 pin input!? WTF is that? The ONLY 4 pin fan input is on my motherboard, and i just have 1. I don't think my Seasonic X 750 have any 4 pin fan inputs? Man i was so hyped up to install this beast and now i can't plug in the fans...damm.... Why isnt this even mentioned in the reviews.

you realise you can plug it into a 3 pin and it would still work right?

Hmmm...the inputs for all my 3 pins are shaped to fit in 3 pins specifically. To fit the 4 pins in, i would have to break the edges off. Man why do they even make them 4 pins!?

Basically the fans are 4 pins.

All my 3 pin inputs are like this, and they cant fit in the 4 pins unless i cut them up.
http://www.getprice.com.au/FAN-ADAPT...--35014665.htm

So i have to buy these. Local comp shops don't stock them, anyone know where can i get them in Perth cheap?

Still not with you. There are two types of four pin fan connectors.
Both your links show the exact same thing. Instead of saying "four pin" can you say "molex" for the large one and three pin for the small one? I'm not getting why you can't just plug the fans into your mobo unless your mobo does not have more than one 3 pin which it shouldn't.
Do the fans that come with it have connectors like this: http://img.techpowerup.org/100406/fan-connector.jpg

Looking over reviews again I can see the fans are PWM four pin fan connectors. Your mobo should have at least one connector for that, and it will still plug into a standard three pin plug too.

Basically the small four pin connector will work in a three pin plug, if it doesn't then rotate it 180 degrees and try again

Btw i don't think the fans that come with the silver arrow are Scythes. The build quality and solidness are not there with my 120mm Kama-flex and S-flex, but i could be wrong. Build feels like Noctua fans, but overall still very good of course

Base is also very nicely finished, but not as mirror polished like housemate's VenomousX. But now with the adjustable mounting, you are going to scratch it anyway when u mount a tight fit

But what's wrong with plugging the fans into your mobo
I see what you mean now, a standard 3-pin to molex adapter does not support a four pin PWM plug if it is like the first one yo showed. But plugging it into your mobo is what you should do.

Added a few more reviews from foreign sites which have been translated.
I am interested to know if anyone else on the forum has one?

Surely they would be thermalright fans?

Yeah I think they are, no review I have read tells us the real manufacturer of the fans though so can't be sure.

I cant believe i have not seen more people with this cooler. Everyone still seems to pulling there dicks over a NH-D14, the fans look crap but work well.

Atleast with the silver arrow they have blue fans and go with a blue setup, not with a brown setup with the brown fans.
