Default Which Frontend?

Hi there, just after some feedback as to which frontend to use. Planning my first MAME build and new at all the emulator setups. I was planning to use this:

TinyXP
MAME Plus XT lite
AdvanceMenu
Instantsheller

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers.

Currently have my testbed switching between mame & wincab jukebox

I'm using Hyperspin. Pretty gaudy and a massive resource hog, but I like it a lot.

I use TinyXP, MAMEUIFX and MAMEWAH. I have an arcade monitor so I use Soft-15khz and a few tweaks in my MAMEUIFX config.

Gets the job done nicely.

MAMEWah/WahCade for me. I don't like the bling/bloat of the others.

There is a massive hyperspin movie collection package thing out there that contains the movies for almost every game ever for various systems. It truely is an impressive feat for them to collect and organise so many movies for a frontend.

I wish 3darcade would get re-worked, so awesome but so difficult to setup.
I have mucked around with maximus but will have to check out hyperspin next.

im going with a self stripped version of XP and MaLa as the frontend. Seems to work and is easy enough.

I use GameEx
Easy to setup, and lots of features.

Personally i would go with Maximus Arcade because its very easy to setup, but there are athers out there like that as well.

Maybe have a go at a couple and then decide for yourself.

I tested them all out and found I like hyperspin the most, it's got a lot of eye candy with animations and junk going on, only downside is you need to download the FLV's for each game to get the full effect and that costs money to gain access to
