Same bottom chamber setup as my Lian Li. Don't bother using the back three drive slots.. they'll be +10 degrees on the front ones. Not cool. Really dislike that they did this. Would have preferred they rip off the stacker and go straight up the front.

Well... that's what it's like in my case anyway. If anyone actually has an XL setup with the bottom drive cage full i'd be interested in knowing you HDD temps

What PSUs are people with this case using? Or any big bottom PSU mounted cases. I got my XL the other day and i love it, though my 8 pin ATX on my HX-620 is too short to run behind so i had to run it through the separator plate.

Just got mine, nice case so far, just a few probs.

Hard drive position - I would have liked some more room between the side panel and the hard drive ports, it squeezes the cables when closed.

Expansion Slots - The expansion slots are too deep!! With the standard motherboard screws (that come the case) the motherboard sat too deep, and I couldn't plug my network card, video card or RAID card in properly.

Bending the bracket was not an option, I'm not going to pull a dodge job. Luckily I like to horde screws, and I happened to have bigger motherboard screws lying around (phew!). After replacing them, the cards mounted fine and rear motherboard ports line up a bit bitter with the panel.

Here is a pic, comparing stock motherboard screw (small one) to the new one.

PSU position - If I had a bigger PSU, I would block off the opening it gives you, and have to use the cutout above it.

Hard drive caddy - They scratch the case, and plastic could have been used.

Some pretty amateur mistakes, that could have been avoided with some better quality assurance testing.

Sent them an email and they replied saying there must have been a dipatch pricing error and have since adjusted their prices

Bought myself a Fractal XL the other day... It's an awesome case, brilliant to build in, what an upgrade from my P180.

Only issues I have with it are the paint on the pci brackets are a bit peal-ey and I wish that they included an 8pin eps extension cable, and that the cover that you can take off between the psu chamber and the main chamber was adjustable, had to take the entire thing off to fit the 8pin cable. Thinking i'm going to manufacture one out of perspex.

Can't decide between black and white or black and red themes.... thinking black and red might be easier since all my sata cables and some motherboard accents are red, but black and white is rarer and looks better imo... plus there isn't much white left once you populate all the hdd bays...

and for reference, a Corsair H70 fits perfectly

Woah, that things looks busy as. Mine looks pretty quiet compared to that

I'll get some decent photos up on the weekend, but overall i'm really happy with it. Now I just have to colour scheme mine, will be pimp as, tired of seeing all the 800D monoliths that are all samey
