VERY true, i did graphics in grade 9+10, with an absolutely clueless teacher, and within a couple of lessons i had more knowledge with it then he did all together. I must admit that happens far to often with my school teachers though :S admin is more worried about uniform then quality of education.

But your work is brilliant. I cant wait to see it all completed, keep up the fantastic work!
Inventor is a tad more tricky, i never got the hang of it :S but if you can find a copy of cad, it's brilliant.
Have also used Revit, which i liked a lot too.

Pretty much every program has its positives and negatives but at the end of the day, if it does what you need without causing problems then great

Does anyone know the best place online to learn the basics of inventor?

Also, Id like to know when The EpicPC website will be done, eager to have a peek!

Theres a website called cadtutor.com, usually the best way is to use the program, have a problem and then google it. When I do that, cadtutor always comes up with 3 or 4 threads with the solution.

Website is coming , two weeks.

Where to start? Thats what I was thinking earlier today. One of those was housing my CNC...one of them.

I was within 50kgs of the max that thing can haul!

And here it is, cling wrapped. First obstacle, entrance door.

We were 120mm from clearing the door so the cutter head needed removal and damn was that thing heavy.

Placed some MDF down to protect the cutter surface.

Whats that? A door that we cant get through? Muwahahahahhahaha!

Ah yeah...

Okay, this is the money shot. You can see the two vac pump outlets for both suction points. The suction points go into a grid area that spreads the pull all over the table. It goes vac point>grid>MDF>object to be held down.

The two vac pumps, these max out the standard 240v power outlet, not nature friendly

Suction grid, I really cant wait to test it out!

The new factory, still a bit off completion yet. Supposedly everything will be done next Tuesday.

Not too much longer before this project starts, once the machine is up and running and I move in, Kyubu starts for real.

I'm actually disappointed.
It's been three days since you've got it, and there still isn't pics of results.

Prepare to be even more disappointed then

I cant move it in to its final resting place until the plasterers have finished and even then it wont be in operation because I need to paint the place. Realistically earmark visiting this thread on Tuesday or Wednesday.
