On direct import ('grey') products purchased from Adorama, we offer the same warranty period; the only difference is that you would need to ship it to Adorama for warranty service.

Don't forget, importing over $1K from overseas may possibly attract 10% gst on top of the cost; unlike some of the HK sellers, Adorama/B&H sends out the proper tax invoice.

I'm lucky that I can send to a US address and pick it up from there.

I thought it would be sth like $1,700 locally, but for $1,300 I dont think there's much of a diff from importing. How much did adorama accept preorders for?

K.

It wouldn't be proper for me to divulge much more than we should have stock available March, April, June and July.

People want any accessory bundles? I'm thinkin a little mini-tripod would be cool for this.

It'd be sweetest if you can bundle the official x100 accessories like the filter ring mount and the hood... maybe also a mechanical cable release?

OK.

The accessory pricing isn't firmed up yet but I'll keep that in mind. I've got the guys down-stairs dreaming up bundles and the cable release was 1st on the list!

I forgot to mention, the bespoke x100 leather case People willing to splurge on an x100 are imo not the type of people to settle for the typical freebies. I have too many free mini-tripods from Ryda tyvm!

Another good one would be a spare battery (easy to source as the NP95 is already on the market) and also a screen protector.
