Default Project: Jane Doe - Lian Li A77F | Completed 03/01/2011

So thankfully I'm employed again which means it's time for a new build I decided to go with a Lian Li A77F due to the sleek and stylish nature of the case, as well as the massive room inside for radiators.

I will be water cooling everything and I plan to put a 420 rad in the 5.25" bays and a 280 rad up the top. So far all I have is the case, board and fans. Waiting on a lot of parts from overseas as usual, hoping to have everything before November but who knows...

Here's a quick parts summary:

Lian Li PC-A77F
Xeon W3520 #3845B020
Asus P6T6 WS Revolution
2x EVGA GTX 480
Intel 80GB G2 SSD OCZ 120GB RevoDrive
Corsair 3x2GB DDR3 Dominators Corsair 1866 C7 Dominator GTs
Corsair AX1200 MDPC-X Sleeved

Water Cooling:

Thermochill 140.3 Rad
HW Labs Black Ice 280 Rad
2x Aquacomputer Nickel GTX 480 Blocks
2x Swiftech MCP-355 Pumps with Aquacomputer Dual Pump Top
Aquacomputer Kryos XT CPU Block
Mips Asus P6T6 Chipset and Mosfet Blocks
Mips Ram Block
Iandh 275mm Stealth Reservoir
8x Gelid 140MM Fans

Here are a few quick photo's I took today of what I have at the moment... I'll update with more photo's of gear when I get it And some more photo's of the case.

I saw the motherboard on the concrete sleepers and almost popped a vein... thank god I then saw it was on it's mobo box.

Looks good man, subscribed for another epic thread.

Good choice on the case LL cases are fantastic. 800D and TJ07s are for the fuglies.
I've the same case, and by experience it's not the most ideal case for WC. You will need some "tweaks" to get things in place. Good luck getting out the plates inside the 5.25" drive bays without some sort of special tool. But it will be rewarding once you have everything fitted.

Yeah it's nice to do something a bit different, I would never go near an 800d... Haha I'm sure it will have issues a long the way, I'm not looking forward to trying to get that rad in the 5.25" bays.

Yeah, looks much better in person. I'll take some better pics of it with the new window side panel when I get it and some pics of the interior.

Yeah I ordered the one for the earlier model from ppc, I may have to just derivet the padlock clip and not use the power supply hold down bracket to get it to fit. Should be fine from what I've read.
