I find that with the new board tha has onboard temp reading from the CPU and it reflects lower temps than i hade with my revious boards this year. SAME CPU - XP 1800 at 2000+ at 1.8V (AGOGA) which can reach 1733 at 1.85 as long as the temp is below 50 celcius at load
Boards with thermo probe on it GA7VRXP - ALPHA PAL 8045 with 55CFM fan Idle: 38 Load:48 GA7DXR - ALPHA PAL 8045 with 40CFM fan Idle 42 Load 50 GA7DXR - ALPHA PAL 8045 with 80CFM fan Idle 37 Load 45 CPU thermo probe on it MSI KT3 Ultra2 R - V7+ 49CFM fan Idle: 31 - Load 38 celcius And it wont go too much past this. WTF which is right? Or is this new V7+ so much better than my ALPHA? I dont think so! SO WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK can these temps be corect? Has the previous temps been too high, cause at times when i touched the HOLY alpha it was HOT to the finger. So how can it be 30's?

Thanks, i think the copper block may work better.....not sure, and the temps may be understated by 5 degrees or so!
My water system gives me similar temps 28 idle 35 load. Dont use it though - too messy.
