Can anyone comment on the speed difference between win32 platform and Wine?

Ive never bothered to setup Wine, always found it much easier to boot into Windows when I wanted something done when I was running a rh workstation.

In Game performance is pretty much the same. The HL/CS menu's have a few glitches though. But nothing too drastic.
