Hey all
The place I'm working at requires a new logo to put on patches on the work shirts and to get painted onto the side of the trucks. It can't be to technical or colourful, but it has to stand out aswell. Seeing as I'm hopeless with graphics and related programs I thought I'd ask you talented people ![]() Anyway I'll give you the run down on what it has to contain. 1. Wonthaggi Garden Supplies. 2. A picture of a smallish Tip Truck 3. A burning wood fire 4. The Phine Number And anything else you can think of that is related to Garden supplies or firewood. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers.

Yeah certainly!
If you can organise to get a cubic metre of wood transported to Brisbane from Melbourne, you can have it for free ![]()

A few months ago, there was a few threads in the 'pub' along the same lines. I think 1 was for a restaurant and I can't remember what the other 1 was for.
There was loads of replies with alot of very good submissions. Just because 'you' don't like doing anything for anybody without getting paid for it, doesn't mean that everybody else is the same. There is alot of people that enjoy making logos and graphics, and the only motivation in doing it, is so that they can sit back and marvel at the end result. If I could make it myself I would, but as I stated in my original post, I am hopeless at that type of thing. If nobody steps forward with any submissions we'll just get somebody in to do it, it's not a big deal.

Thanks Sting, that's not a bad effort.
I'll wait for a few more submissions, and then i'll whack them on a cd and show the Boss. Cheers

I didnt put much effort in that one. Couple of blocks n circles and tada! Spose the 'prize' isnt' giving much people any encouragement. And you can't make much outa a truck, fire, text, and numbers. But g'luck. |

you're right Sting...
You could set the truck afire tho... hehe... it's actually quite hard to put the two things into one logo and make any sense of it... :\ Fire and truck just aren't similar. |

lol yes well I don't think they're trying to sell their Fire fighting skills or services :P I'm sure if we had a load of wood dumped nextdoor they'd just sell it and make a proffit :\ Anyway I've given the idea some thought... logo will appear sometime this week
